Alain Cliche

1981-87: produced and collaborated on radio shows devoted to alternative music and worked as a DJ, notably at Foufounes électriques .

1986-1990: completed a bachelor's degree in communications at Laval University.

1990-95: worked as an advertising copywriter for a range of companies.

1996: Trained as a screenwriter (INIS). Co-directed the documentary Voir au delà des apparences .

1997: wrote the script for the short film La poids de l’air which won the jury prize at the Yorkton Festival , Saskatchewan.

1997-2000: developed several film projects including Normal , a feature film financed at the writing stage by SODEC.

2006: Accro vinyle is published by Trois-Pistoles.

2009: Normal is published by Trois-Pistoles.

2009: Creates a blog about counterculture, literature and different musical trends.

2011: The documentary MTL Punk is launched at FIFA (International Festival of Films on Art); this film chronicles the emergence of the Montreal punk scene.

2016: Jusqu'à ce que la mort nous chatouille de ses caresses is self-published. This 3rd book contains parts II and III of a trilogy that began with Normal .
